Mongolian motorcyclist takes second place at Silk Way Rally
B.Bat-Undral took second place in the Silk Way international long-distance automobile and motorcycle rally took place in Mongolia, Russia, and China.
The Silk Way international long-distance automobile and motorcycle rally took place in Mongolia, Russia, and China between July 6 and 16. On July 16, its tenth stage wrapped up in Dunhuang, China and the award ceremony was held at the Grand Cultural Centre in Dunhuang. This year, 15 athletes represented Mongolia in the rally, traveling 5,000 km over ten stages. Mongolian motorcyclist B.Bat-Undral took second place in the rally behind a Spanish athlete who have previously competed in the Dakar Rally. Also, the team of S.Ariunbold and G.Erdenesuren triumphed over the UTV open class while E.Orgil and Sh.Gansukh finished in third place in T2.
