Two Mongolians to be conferred with Japan's Order of the Rising Sun award
The Government of Japan has announced the 2020 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals.
According to the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia, Mongolian nationals T.Munkhtsetseg and D.Narantsetseg will receive the Order of the Rising Sun. The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon will be conferred to T.Munkhtsetseg for her contribution to promoting academic exchange and mutual understanding between Mongolia and Japan. She is an Advisory Professor of the Department of Asian Studies of the National University of Mongolia. The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette will be conferred to D.Narantsetseg for her contribution to developing Japanese language education in Mongolia and promoting mutual understanding between Mongolia and Japan. D.Narantsetseg is a translator, interpreter, and Former Lecturer of the National University of Mongolia and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Nihonmatsu Training Center.
