The Central Bank of Mongolia (Mongolbank) and Interbank Processing Center (IPC) of Kyrgyzstan signed a memorandum of cooperation
The Central Bank of Mongolia (Mongolbank) and Interbank Processing Center (IPC) of Kyrgyzstan signed a memorandum of cooperation with the aim of leading the digital transformation of the financial sector in the countries. The document on the establishment of business cooperation was signed on May 24 in Bishkek. It is planned to exchange professional knowledge in the field of payment systems and acquiring systems, as well as cooperate in implementing mutual acceptance of national payment cards, brand cards and the Kyrgyz electronic card ELCART. Representatives of Mongolbank, the Association of Mongolian Banks, commercial banks and fintech organizations took part in the signing ceremony of the memorandum of cooperation. Director of the Settlement Department of Mongolbank, along with relevant officials, held a business meeting with Deputy President of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan to exchange information on the payment system.
