Mongolia and Türkiye to Strengthen Cooperation Between Parliamentary Offices

The Secretary-General of Mongolia’s State Great Khural, Ulziisaikhan, is paying a working visit to Türkiye at the invitation of her Turkish counterpart, Ahmet Bozkurt. The two officials met to discuss strengthening cooperation between their respective parliamentary offices, including exchanges of experience in legislative work, parliamentary oversight, public participation, and digitalization. During the meeting, Ulziisaikhan highlighted Mongolia’s parliamentary reforms, noting that the State Great Khural now has 126 members, including 32 women — the highest number of women members in its history. Both sides emphasized the importance of parliamentary cooperation in strengthening bilateral relations. Following the meeting, Ulziisaikhan and Bozkurt signed a Cooperation Protocol aimed at expanding professional ties and promoting practical cooperation between the two parliamentary offices, according to the Office of the Open Parliament of the State Great Khural.
